Being all nice, giving them lots of notice even though I didn't feel like it… And they walked me out of the building like they were firing me and told me to take my vacation the next 2 weeks. Didnt even want to let me pack my stuff. Kinda surprised… I told my boss there were things I was trying to finish up before I left so he wasn't left totally hanging. Is this because they wanted me to leave so badly or is this just the new normal? I've actually left the same agency, different office, before and this didn't happen that way then.

So maybe I am the idiot here but is it normal for a remote W2 position to require you to have your own computer to put their phone system and other stuff on? I am hard against it. I told my wife if they want to give a 1k sign on so we can buy a new computer then sure but using a personal one seems like a huge red flag. 14 an hour so the math comes out to about 72 hours of work before that cost is recouped. Not to mention, if it shits the bed, we are on the hook and not the company.

I got fired from my job. For time theft. Leaving early then clocking out at home a couple times was enough liability for them to ax me. Even though I was done with my work. I was stupid, I get it. I am totally accountable. But I still loved my job. I begged to keep it. Even though I told them I won’t do it again. Even though I sacrificed my own health and safety throughout pandemic to treat and provide patient care to covid+ patients. Even though I was doing my god dam hardest to provide excellent and quality care to my patients when I was at work. I really felt I was making a difference in my community and felt so much satisfaction and validation doing what I did on a daily basis. MEANWHILE, high level HR managers and c-suite level suits can physically and verbal assault, harass,…

I always use the office washroom after lunch, and today I had leftover ham & potatoe cassarole. This meal usually makes me gassy, and I destroyed the toilet. As I left the washroom, my female co-worker was waiting to use the toilet (we only have one washroom for all staff), and she immediately left and found our boss. An hour later, I was called into a meeting with management, where I was told that I create “too much flatulence”. I find this to be offensive and discriminatory, but I admit that I usually eat meals that don't always agree with my stomach. Was I in the wrong here?

I was looking to start my own small business and trying to find a way where everyone wins and is happy. Profit sharing, salary caps, making employees partners…. Give me your ideas!!
