Fake sicknesses
What are some sicknesses I can fake that a doctor either won't pick up or can't/won't check. I plan on quitting my job soon but I want to use my sick leave up first.
More pay for job name loss?
I got hired as a manager at a logistics firm but it’s a small department so I have to do around 5 different jobs that do not relate to logistics such as purchasing equipment, accounting, inventory and some other things that were not in my duties when hired. I make 48 thousand a year but I was contacted by another company saying they will hire me but as a logistics assistant for 55k it’s a 7k bonus and I also will only be doing one job instead of 5 but the downside is my job title is less and will look less highly then a manager in logistics but have a pay raise. Is this worth it should I take the 7k and the opportunity for growth but worst job title?
I tag things and distribute them to each store. I calculated the cost of each item and how many items I distribute each hour. On average I make 1600 dollars per hour for the company. I make 1/100th of that per hour. I understand there is operating costs but that big of a disparity between pay and profit is heartbreaking.
I moved to Toronto in 2021 from the U.S. Since moving here I have been laid off 2 times for the most ridiculous reasons. 1st one was because the job was work from home and switched to in person. When I asked if I could work hybrid/remote, they immediately fired me. No debate, no conversation, just automatically fired for asking a question. Second was today. It was my second day at the job and I was asked to take calls when I had no clue what to do, so I asked if I could continue to shadow and take notes, which is apparently a sin. Both were corporate jobs. Anyone else here facing the same thing? It feels like I can't get ahead in life. I don't know if its a universal thing or just the way jobs operate in Toronto. I feel so annoyed and discouraged.
