At this point, they’re not accommodating my requests and I’m pretty much out on leave until I get it figured out. I need something else to make ends meet. Is there a way to find out if I have another part time job during this time?

I just got a job at a gas station, the pay's bad but it's very close by which is great for me since I dont have a car. The customers are generally very nice and it's one of the easiest jobs I've worked except for the fact we're not allowed to sit down at all. I've got foot and back problems already and the constant standing in place is only making it worse. By the end of my first day i was limping home and my back was so stiff i could barely get out of bed. By the end of my shifts I can barely do the tasks I should be doing because the pain in my feet and knees is so bad I can barely walk. I know this may seem so far fetched and outside of realm of possibility but when I was in my 20’s I decided that at some point, I would take time off in my late 30’s to do what I wanted. It wasn’t easy but I saved to take a sabbatical. So glad I had this plan because my dad got very sick and I was his caregiver. I was able to stop working and make the most of his time. We had some of the best adventures. He lived with me so he contributed to household expenses marginally but he had a pension and a 401K. At the very beginning of his illness, I took on consulting work which paid a good amount and I put money in accounts to pay for all the things I would need once I stopped working.
