Hi, recently my company has laid off employees and there will be another batch of layoffs in the next couple of months. So, I felt anxious about that and applied to other companies and there is one company that called me for an interview (same role as my current company) next week. I'm wondering what to write in the application form for “reason for leaving”, what “reasonable” reason should I state in “reason for leaving” when I'm actually anxious and want to find a backup plan just in case I get laid off from my current company?

For context, my employers are all men. It's been a shit year and I didn't realize till I was absolutely fed up. I barely even know my job responsibilities. It's working in the billing department and working with insurance claims for GI patients. And a whole shit ton of other things. It's entry level and they don't expect me to know anything, but good God the amount of info that was thrown at me in the last 3 days, and I wasn't even able to like… sit down and practice it. I'm so overwhelmed. Part of me wants to quit but I cant.
