I’m proposing a nation wide boycott of USA companies making X amount of profits. We need to come up with a list of exceptional offenders of mistreatment of workers. These posts in this thread make me sick and each one has someone making a very good point…. These jobs/companies make profits = they don’t care about their workers mistreatments. Let’s hit em where it hurts, their pockets! Whose with me?!?

Blinded by The Light
I just suffered a life altering injury last week Wednesday, the 15th of February. I was on a commercial crabber, took the blunt end of an unwrapped bamboo buoy stick to my eye, crushing it, and from what I've been told, pretty much blinding it for the rest of my life. Was life flighted to one of the top trauma hospitals in the country after being brought to shore, and after multiple hours of surgery they saved the eye, just not my sight. I had a 10 year plan in place but the low prices of crab, etc tied in with the high prices of everything else has extended that. I just lost half the light of…
I recently left a Glassdoor review for a company I interviewed with, but didn't end up getting the job. I wanted to alert other candidates about the red flags I found during the hiring process. However, the company somehow managed to trace the review back to me, and I have no idea how they did it. To be honest, I'm not even scared or intimidated that they found out it was me behind the review. I've been job searching since I got laid off, and I don't care about burning bridges at this point. Companies already burn bridges with their bad treatment and terrible hiring processes, treating employees and job candidates as disposable assets. The hiring manager even sent me an email to schedule a call with him to clarify some of the points I made in my review and to see if there's a job opportunity for me. But…
Found this gem and just had to share.
And you turn it in and it’s amazing, received very well, and then you don’t get the job? Is this free labor a thing? This sketches me out. Do any legitimate companies do this or is this a sign to run away as fast as you can?
