Just let go

So context is that I got injured in my last 2 weeks of my previous job, new job accommodated me into a position. New year happens the eliminated the position/shift. Asked to be placed somewhere with an overnight shift and couldn’t find me one so they terminated me. They did offer another shift but my family(wife and kids) has made commitments around me working overnights. Should I just reapply? Like idk
