This is embarrassing now, because my boss is making it personal. I’ve tried to write this so many times, and it gets so long. This is my briefest version. I worked at this company for 5 years. I left college with an engineering degree. Couldn't get an engineering job, and landed in technical sales at $55k. I felt like a failure, like I wasn't coming close to my own expectations.
