So im a long time lurker of this sub and just wanted to say some words. Im a foreman at a warehouse in an EU country and im in chock at what kind of piss porr working condions you have in the US. If I could i would offer you all a jobb at my work place beacuse shit that I read here would never fly here. For some examples. A day of is a day off and your employer should respect that. Who gives a fuck about work on a day of? You should enjoy your life on a free day and not think about work. If you call in sick and your workplace is short staffed then its managements problem and not yours. And they really fucking respect that too. And whats up with a sertain amount of payed sick days? I've been conflicted about making this post because I'm worried about people I worked with figuring out who I am from context clues. What the fuck could they do though, realistically? I guess my former boss could murder me. Lol. I'll have to leave out a lot of detail to keep it vague, but my god the things I could show you guys. Some of it is hilarious and some of it is horrifying. How did I find out? Well it certainly wasn't disclosed to me prior to being hired.
