Today the owner came in and angrily called a meeting in which he proceeded to yell at my coworkers and called them the R slur. He then told me I could leave because I didn’t do anything wrong. I walked out and could hear him still yelling at them. None of us can afford to walk out but are looking for jobs. Is there anything that can be done? HR was in the meeting and said nothing. Is the best course of action to just look for something else and leave? I am flabbergasted and don’t even know how to proceed.

I can’t do the car business anymore.
I think I’m done with the car business After 6 years of working at the same dealer i think I’m drawing the line here. I was promoted after 5 years from sales person to sales manager and was actually very excited for the opportunity. I wasn’t getting as much as I made but I wanted the experience. I had more hours, more responsibilities and definitely more stress, after 9 months of it I wanted a raise and to start making real money. I knew how to do everything and my partner up here who trained me left for another dealer because of more money as well. So after the owners who haven’t been to the dealer in about 2 years because they have been Puerto Rico on vacation they got back and I called the owner and texted him for 2 weeks with no answer. I know it’s his number…
asked me to be a slave. So I quit
I work as a live streamer selling shit under a chinese company. My manager doesn't know much about employees rights, so you can imagine how much of a hell hole it is. Couldn't take it anymore when he asked me to livestream for 5 hours straight daily, no restroom break nor dinner break. And I have to do the livestream while looking pretty and with 100% energy. My manager barely takes his rest days or eat at work. And he wants us to be like him. I'm just so frustrated, he is so young. I had high hopes for him as a manager, so much potential but he has been groomed to be a shitty one. It would be hard for him to get out of his cycle. He is so arrogant in defending the company, he is so blinded that he couldn't see that what the company want are…

I started this job about a month ago. I am a full time grad student and it's my last semester so I'm pretty busy with thesis work and classes, and I also have another part-time job that I love but doesn't give me enough hours so I applied and got this job. I answer the phones for a popular festival. The average event price is $75 and people can easily get up into the hundreds with their purchases. The office is open Mon-Fri 10a-2p and one girl works MWF, I work TR 9:30a-2:30p. I get paid $13.50/hr (minimum wage is $7.25 but most places tend to offer around $10, so I was pretty stoked). Came into work this morning really early because I had an appointment nearby this morning. I sat at an empty desk and waited until closer to my scheduled start time to clock in. My boss encourages…
