Inappropriate comment
My boss made an inappropriate comment alluding to my weight in front of others and some people that I’ve told in my personal life are taking it seriously, while others are not. What do you all think of a boss telling an employee “she needs some exercise” in front of others?

If I'm wrong I'm wrong but I'm starting to think that the only way any of us are going to make any difference any change is to strike/fight back leave our jobs, yes we can bitch and say fuckem and they should do this or that but the Norfolk Southerns of the world the world leaders don't give a rip To the main point: If our way of talking communicating becomes limited or gone I think is the last missing piece ex if Reddit was blocked, it's not a well thought out idea granted but interested
I work for a very small company. No HR. Boss makes all decisions. Everything is to cater to his immediate wants. Very 80s businessman fake-it-til-you-make-it rich-guy-but-very-cheap sort of thing. He was out of town for a Monday and Tuesday. He called the operations manager to tell him to assign me busy work. It didn't matter what. Something. He didn't care to see the results. It was work to keep me busy to justify me being here and keep me from going home, like most people here do, when they realize he isn't here. OM didn't. He told him he would, knew it was pointless, and didn't mention it to me. At the end of the week, the boss asked if I “did the tasks.” He said tasks because he had no idea what they were. They weren't anything. There was no work needed, he didn't come up with it,…
I remember seeing some form of punishment listed on my employment papers I signed when I started my restaurant job saying what will happen if we discuss pay with other employees. Is that not retaliation? I thought we could talk about pay and it’s not meant to be punished?
So even though everywhere seems to be hiring and short staffed I've put in multiple multiple applications and only had a handful of interviews and some were not great. However I had a really good one last week and accepted the job and was very excited. The manager that interviewed me said they provided the uniform. I got a text from the GM this morning saying I need to have navy blue slacks and a brown or black belt neither of which I have and don't have money to get at the moment because of not working for so long (had radiation treatments) and I'm supposed to start tomorrow so now I'm freaking out 🥺
Should I quit my new job?!
Just started as a remote CSR for Walmart, most remote roles I’ve had were more relaxed, which is why I took less money for this job. But you’re expected to take 50-60 calls a day and you only get 2 minute breaks which they schedule for you. They also make you have your cameras on for training and nesting. Management already gives off the vibes of being shitty and micro managing. For 15 an hour not sure if it’s worth it. I was making 20-22 an hour and took the step back for remote, but seems like I’ll be working harder then most jobs
