I’ve been working for them for nearly a year now in various different capacities pretty much learning new positions and filling in wherever they need. They only have one other full time employee who is certainly capable of a lot but definitely doesn’t pull the same weight. i had an interview last week for a graveyard shift at a homeless services shelter. I’ve been trying for a while to get a job that aligns with my degree and makes me feel like i’m actually helping my community. the first round interviewer told me i’m their top candidate right now and the two positions they have available are either full time (12 am – 8 am monday -friday) or part time (12 am – 8 am saturday – sunday). the pay is $17 as of right now but she told me they’d do $19-20 as they’re raising wages this week. my second interview is on monday but the dilemma is that i also have an interview for a server position in a restaurant today.
