When I was hired, I signed a contract to work with one company. However, the owner of that company then basically pawned me off to her family members who own separate companies. These people now randomly give me work and expect it to be done asap, but I also have the work of my actual company to do. They also speak to me very rudely, and I never would have taken the original job if I knew I would be interacting with them. How would you handle this?

Ive been working at a non union rigging and heavy haul company for a little over a year. I liked it a lot honestly, liked a few of my co workers, but the company sucked and the negativity/man babies were awful, even for construction sake. I finally got a new job with a union crane company, amazing environment and benefits. Everything is perfect and I have a good shot at a solid career there, possibly making $200k which I would never make where im at. The new company asked if I wanted to start asap or give notice, and they said they understood I wanted to give 2 weeks but if anything changed please let them know as they really need help. I told my current job I was giving my notice and they took it okay, but I've been shafted on hours. We usually started at 6am and…

We have two new hires. I just overheard this question from the trainer. I know it’s just a stupid waste of time “team-builder” but the question is so terrible.
Article: Reddit employees who lost their jobs are livid that the company is painting them as low performers: 'A cruel and dishonest way to kick a person when they're down' Reddit insiders say a sense of dread has filled the social-media giant as the company has cut employees, one by one, in recent weeks. Current and former staffers alike are still scrambling to piece together how many people were impacted and who among their peers has been axed, according to interviews with 10 employees who were cut and two current staffers. Staffers who worked in community management, data science, software engineering, and creator relationships were among those who lost their jobs, insiders said. Many of those impacted added that they were confused and upset with the company not just for making cuts, but for referring to them as performance-based. The sources spoke with Business Insider on the condition of…
Help me win $200
Soooo what is my union there for?
So I am a teacher thus I don't have a normal human resources department, just a union for assistance. There has been major issues with a fellow teacher for years. He takes credit for others work, copies other teachers lesson plans without permission, goes through their desks, spreads confidential information (he is a union rep) the list goes on and on. Last year I approached the union president and he spoke to said teacher. Things didn't really improve so again I went through the union. Problem is there is a new president and vice president. They are old friends with this teacher. They assure me it will be handled, etc. etc. Nothing was ever done. Instead they just gave him a promotion within the union. Major slap in the face. Only a white strait male could pull that off. The problems persist so I went against every instinct and talked…
