Autistic coworker suddenly get her hours cut without warning

England My coworker who is autistic has had her hours cut without any warning from 20 to just 7, making her job now unsustainable. She has had no prior warnings or discussions about her ability to do the job, the company just decided she doesn't make them enough money so cut her hours without properly explaining why or giving her goal to work towards. Her autism affects the way she works, she would benefit from things like help with time management, set routine, specific goals etc. There are things that she is capable of improving on, but the issues have never been formally discussed with her. I was advised to come here as the equality act might be able to help protect her, I am helping her to write an email to HR/Area Manager to give her the opportunity to get her hours back. My coworker who is autistic has had her hours cut without any warning from 20 to just 7, making her job now unsustainable.

What would be good things to include/not include in this email? She doesn't want the company to get pissed off with her but it seems that they're forcing her to quit anyway, so it's worth trying to fight it.

Thanks for any advice!
