Back to making base pay

I posted in this sub around February of this year that I had gotten an interview for a game store in my town and got some fantastic advice for the interview. Now, since beginning to work here, our hours have been cut about three times. (there's 6 employees total and an overall 230 hours for every two weeks). Now, since beginning to work here, our hours have been cut about three times. (there's 6 employees total and an overall 230 hours for every two weeks). So even though my pay has gone from 9.50 to 10.25 I'm now making the same amount of money on each paycheck that I did when I first started the job.

Over the summer, two of my coworkers quit so I was actually getting really good hours through the summer and making good money since they give hours based on seniority. Then around March they cut hours a bit, then again in September, then once more at the very start of October.

Upper management say that we get hours now based on “store performance” but we live in a kind of small town so business has been pretty slow lately, especially since there's another one of our locations in the next town over, so a lot more people go to that one.

I really like this job and trying to find a new job in this town is absolutely horrible, but I don't have the time to work two jobs either. I honestly just feel stuck.
