My SO works in a public library where bedbugs have been found recently. The library is located in the richest area of the state. Her bosses have only thrown out a couple pieces of furniture and had the area “sprayed” whatever that means. I’m not an expert but I am paranoid about bedbugs and have done a lot of googling in the past; as far as I know only extreme heat can get rid of these bugs.
There has still been visual confirmation of bugs since then and the people in charge are basically blowing it of and telling my SO (who is in a leadership position) to keep this info from the rest of the staff. SO is understandably very stressed out, as am I. Has anyone been in a situation like this before? Any advice? Do employees/patrons have any legal recourse(probably not, this is America after all)?
