Being told different things regarding holiday pay.

I work through a contracting company that rhymes with maston darter, I have 2 documents and probably more at home on my PC stating that I will be eligible for holiday pay after 30 days of employment, I started on 5/8/2023 and today I was expecting a full paycheck because of the 4th of July holiday of last week. I am missing the holiday pay and after emailing the reps they are telling that I received wrong information and that as of 2/01/2023 I am only eligible for holiday after 180 days. My first problem with that is my contract is only for 180 days, unless it is renewed I will not qualify for any holiday pay at all since I will no longer be at this job(I hope I am, even though I was hired as a contractor I hope I can get fully hired by the company as…

My main problem is they’re stating that the policy was updated on 2/01/23 and that the information I got on 5/08/2023 is wrong, how can they let something like slip by for 3 months.

I have a colleague who is in the same predicament as I am and was hired through the same contractor. We both received an orientation packet on the first day, both emailed today regarding the holiday pay issue, and were both sent an updated orientation packet, however the holiday pay part was conveniently omitted on her original orientation packet. We both compared our original orientation packets and hers is missing the holiday pay section entirely, should I contact the labor board or talk to my supervisors? Or should I just let this go?

It does not feel right to just let this go.
Am I overthinking it and really am out of luck or are they trying to pull a fast one over me/us.
