Bf lost his job because he wanted to get paid

My bf started a new job around 4-5 months ago just as a pizza delivery driver. We have an 11 month old daughter and I’m studying full time so I’m off work (I get parenting payments from centrelink) and we rely on his work quite a lot because I only get $1100 a fortnight and rent is $630 a week. The issue started a few weeks ago. My bf had worked around 20 hours and so we expected around $500-$600, his pay came around and it was only $120. He messaged his boss straight away sending screenshots of his pay and his roster. It took two more days of messaging with no response before my bf gave up and found the number for the accountant that controls the payslips. Except this time they only backpaid him what they missed and didn’t pay him for his shifts he worked during that week we had missed pay.
We also noticed his boss hadn’t sent through any rosters. We hoped it was just a mistake so he messaged his boss asking if he had any shifts and nothing. No response. We managed to get the accountant to send through the money that he ONCE AGAIN missed but now my bf has no job right before Christmas all because he wanted to get paid for the work he did. I get he was casual and part of being casual is it’s a risk because they might take away your shifts but he was consistently working 3-4 days a week and it’s holidays now so I would’ve expected they would need him more or at least a fucking warning or official termination instead of ghosting… his boss knows he has a kid and everything but fuck us I guess?
