Boss asking if coworker is doing his job

I am just curious if this should be considered toxic behavior. I was working on my computer and my boss asked if coworker has been sending me reports hes supposed send to me every week. We are not each others boss, just two sides to one coin. I told him he hadn't sent me any this week because it was the truth; told me i could leave early if I answered that one question
