For the past 6 months, my off days have been Sat and Sun. Before that it was Sun Mon.
My boss told me on the 28th, that starting July, my schedule would revert back to Sun Mon. I told her I couldn't as I have another job during the weekends. She got mad and said
“Ok. I understand you have you another job. We need to talk in person moving forward and with signing paper next time, if you saying you don't remember. It's my bad to trust people without signings paper. Next time I will keep in mind. I can not promise keep you Monday through Friday if you can not back to what was your schedule as we agreed was temporary. I will let you know about it when I'm done with July schedule. Thank you. “
We stopped talking after this text.
The temporary thing is a single text 6 months ago to my question “so sat sun are my days off now?”

I found out today that my schedule had indeed been changed. We did not talk in person and she didn't let me know. I found out today after I got a bunch of calls and messages asking me where I was.
What do yall think of this situation? Was I the asshole here?
Imo, I let her know that I couldn't work Sat Sun. I explained why. It is shitty of her to just change my schedule willy nilly, whenever she wants. Am I just supposed to do nothing Sat Sun on the chance that my off days could get changed based on a single text 6 months ago.
Also, I have been working at this job for 3+ years and never had any problems. I have good work ethic and always make sure I do what I'm supposed to.
