I work as an Australian pool and spa cleaner on a full time contract and lately there has not been enough work to spread around to all the employees. Today my boss told me not to come in tomorrow as there was not enough work for me to do. Is he allowed to do this whilst I am on a salary? Note: I don't have any sick or holiday hours to use so I won't be getting paid at all whilst I stay at home.
