Sorry, English isn’t my first language so there may be some errors in my post.
So, I’ve been working for this agency for a couple of months, I was weirded out by the fact that everyone stayed well past the end of their shift whereas I would leave as soon as my shift ended.
A few weeks later I was offered a new position with a slight increase in salary. Mind you, I don’t have any benefits, no health insurance, no overtime pay, just my salary. I was required to work up to 13 hours a day sometimes and if I was busy with family stuff or just having some time for myself they would get mad. This past week was awful, a lot was going wrong and I was blamed for most of it, and I promised to do better. I really wanted to be the best.
Anyways, today I had to go to therapy since I suffer from severe PTSD and depression (my schedule is Monday through Friday 8 to 5, and I didn’t get a new contract for the promotion so technically my schedule is still the same) there were some issues with one of our clients so my boss started texting me, I told them I couldn’t work right then since I was omw to my therapist’s office. My boss got mad and sent me a bunch of texts telling me that who was supposed to fix it. I haven’t answered and I’m considering just quitting, they get mad that I have a personal life or that I take care of my health.
I’m a foreign remote worker, I work from home for a US agency so I don’t know what to do. I’m just so tired and this job is worsening my mental and physical health. Any advice is appreciated.
Sorry for the long post.
