I work in corporate and work with nice small team. Except for the fact that my boss constantly gives me new tasks 5 MINUTES BEFORE I CAN LEAVE. It’s getting frustrating now. I’ve always liked him for his nice personality but since a couple of weeks, he would ask me without any shame if I could do stuff for him that takes half an hour AT LEAST to do right before I leave!
At first, it helped to guilt trip him by reminding him that he didn’t need anything in the early afternoon and that I would take my time tomorrow morning. Now he blatantly tells me that he “reeeaalllyy” needs it by the evening.
How do I tell him politely to stop giving me these tasks right before I need to clock out?!
