As the title says, my boss at work has just been straight up ignoring my time off requests for one day on Sunday (Tomorrow). We have a scheduling app that handles all the process and when the schedule was made, no approval or denial of the request, it was still in the pending section of the app. I put in the notice about a month in advance for that one day and didn’t see anything happen when the schedule was made.
Then when I went to ask her about it, she just denies it on her laptop in my face and tells me to find someone to cover, in which case is not possible since everyone works weekends anyway.
This situation is just really annoying because I’ve been looking forward to this day for a while and I don’t see a purpose in having a system like that if it will just be ignored and denied.
