Small biz in California, been working there 5 years. I’ve been getting .25 cent raises about twice a year, starting wage was 14, then she hired everyone at 15 starting 2020.
Recently she randomly put everyone on 17. Im super excited because i didn’t have to have a meeting, but really questioning her as a boss because EVERYONE from our manager to 6month part timer is now being paid 17 an hour. Besides asking for general opinions about this sort of thing, I’d like to know if there’s anything I could do bring up this situation to bosslady.
