Boss says I’m taking “too much leave” when recovering from COVID-19

I recently had COVID-19 and have just returned to work. I took 3 days annual leave over a weekend for a trip and tested positive upon returning home. I then took the remainder (tues-fri) of the week off upon medical advice and sent a photo of the positive rapid test. My boss today scolded me for taking “too much leave” since I started earlier this year, despite that annual leave being my first. Getting that approved was a nightmare too. This was the final straw, updating my resume and looking for new jobs now. It's true we don't leave jobs, we leave bosses.
