TL;DR: Boss changed my schedule with no warning to me or any other coworkers and I was cleared to go home at my originally scheduled time and now she's trying to put strikes on me.
So last night I worked my normal 5pm to 9pm shift, and at the end of the night, I checked out with the acting 3rd shift supervisor to make sure they didn't need me for anything else, and they said no and to have a good night. Well fast forward to this morning, I git a text at 11pm the night before from said supervisor and he was like “You work till 2am.” And showed me the paper schedule that had been surprisingly changed THAT DAY with no words said and even the third shift supervisor didn't know about. So now my regional manager is on me and she gave me not one, but TWO strikes right off for being a “no call no show” and for “walking out”. She did try the whole “You need to make sure you check with the supervisor on the next shift to make sure you can leave” and as soon as I said I had, her tone changed and she'll “follow up”. I'm livid. I've NEVER had to deal with things like this at any job I've had, nor ever just walked out or no call no showed. So now I'm nervous to hear the verdict on whether my strikes will be pulled or if she'll find another reason to blame me. I do indeed have a screenshot of my schedule from just a couple of days ago originally saying I was not scheduled till 2am so hopefully I have that going for me. But no I get why my coworkers don't like that particular boss…
