As the title says my coworker and I were waiting for a call we had set for after 3pm. Boss calls asks if we can take a long lunch while we wait or clock out and go run errands while still in company clothes and company vehicle (which isn't allowed per our employee handbook). We had checked in with our office and there was nothing else for us to do other than to wait. Was my boss in the right for that?
