Antiwork

Boss told me they needed to review my presentation that I was doing at a conference in my private time.

I'm presenting at an meet up event at a local university for free. I've removed any mention of my workplace and the topic isn't controversial. I advertised my talk on a work chat. And work is now asking for a copy of my presentation which on principle I'm refusing. Since when do I need approval for something I'm doing on my free time and not mentioning anything about my work. Update: I refused and went back and forth for 1 week of managers trying to convince me to send it. It went up the ladder and the higher ups eventually agreed with me and dropped it. They said they'll look into changing the policy. This is at a big bank and I work on their app. They agree with me that it is like asking to review a speech at a wedding.
