I was placed on a pip a couple of weeks ago and I’ve accepted that I’m very likely going to be fired at the end of it.
I’ve polished my resume, have been applying to jobs and even have an interview next week!
At our “check in meetings” my boss has been telling me “that I don’t seem happy here” and “that I deserve to have a job that better fits”. They ask me multiple times a week if I want to stay here or if I’m even happy….It’s like they’re feigning empathy to try to get me to quit before the pip is up.
Not gonna lie, I’ve been tempted to quit but I want that UI when the inevitable comes. I’m trying to stay strong!
Has anyone else dealt with this?
