Boss wants me to come in early to discuss performance off the clock, so it’ll be unpaid.

Regardless of my performance, should I write it off as “I’m off the clock so I shouldn’t care”? Don’t take this as criticism or entitlement, but I’ve seen posts in this sub where members have called about their boss calling them in while they’re off the clock, often to discuss performance. There might also be a worker protection about this but don’t quote me on it
