My first irl witness, that “anyone is disposable” and it's better to quit than keep working for dead end job.
Last week, my mom told me that the local bubble tea shop posted a sign that it's permanently closed. My childhood friend, Mark, just went to work one morning and couldn't open the doors. Every employee was there waiting for hours, and they finally realized it had shutdown.
Days later, Mark's Chinese parents were furious at his situation. He dropped out college, had a bad track record, and basically “told him so” to find another job.
I just wanted to say that this subreddit helped me a lot to avoid these kind of businesses. I hope more people could avoid this type of situation.
