Hello, just going through some rough time at new job, anyone got experience in care home? I just started last month, and my supervisor is treating me like garbage after I had ONE day induction… I was expected to work on my own and know everything, month later which is now I am being constantly told off, treated worse than her pals (it's in Scotland and I'm from different country) which my colleagues and they're all female, I'm guy for context… I contacted my UNISON branch today and waiting for more details, because I feel depressed and going to this job makes me feel worthless despite working my arse off with my back problems, it's very busy place, physical work and my supervisor expects me to do EVERYTHING within short time frame (5,5 hrs).
Anyone dealt with it? Any advice? I'm looking for another job.. this year generally has been very difficult, this is THIRD job with same kind of supervisor not kidding.
