Started a new job as a warehouse manager, after my first week I shared with the GM a few observations.
He did not take any of them in a good way and told me that if everything I had for him was negative points, I may not be the right fit after all.
Most of the observations were safety issues and waste of labor.
- Forklift drivers with earphones
- Forks tilted
- Forklifts parked anywhere
- Drivers don't use the horn
- Workers clock in and then go grab coffee before start working
- Managers are casanovas
- Workers vaping everywhere
- People watching Netflix
- Managers don't know their headcount
I offered solutions but He cut me off.
Lmao, I was like, what did I get into? I know they will fire me over this.
I am already looking for another job.
