This new policy to stop call outs seems crazy to me. I work at a national coffee chain and if you call out now you have to call the store and come in for a mandatory thermometer check. Considering we handle food this doesn’t seem legal at all! I’m like 99% sure this isn’t a company wide policy either. I have no idea what happens if you “fail” to have a fever. People can be too sick to work for multiple reasons without a fever.
