Currently in the process of purchasing a house. On my Principal account, one of the withdrawal options is for that, just have to provide proof of a real estate contract. Ever since I started this job, I’ve always heard that the owner of our company has to approve it, regardless of if it’s considered an appropriate withdrawal by the IRS. Is this legal?? Can he legally deny my withdrawal when I get to that point even though it’s accepted by the IRS as a “hardship withdrawal”? Anyone ever have any experience with this?
