Located in British Columbia, Canada. Details, I work as a labourer for a pretty well known Canadian business. I have multiple levels of bosses. Supervisor, office supervisor, head supervisor(main guy who runs everything but still spends all day in an office). My supervisor and “coworker” like to spend 90% of the day walking around talking after doing the bare minimum in the morning, they both act like they do everything but drop all the work to be done onto me. I have been doing my job and keeping busy all day but decided to let the head supervisor know that they both spend most of the day messing around. This was several months ago I took up this complaint. He said he would address it but nothing really changed and my hours got cut a few weeks later.
Jump to today and I decided I’ve had enough again and let the head supervisor know that the supervisor and coworker are consistently still doing nothing but walking around and talking. He said we could talk about it in the office and try to address it.
I’m honestly thinking of just saying “No” to the meeting because the last time I brought it up, my hours got cut and the head supervisor even tried defending the supervisor and coworker. I’m not sure where to find any documents that say I can force them to communicate through text or if I’m able to record any in person meetings. I’d like to be able to record any communication with higher ups for obvious reasons.
