From my understanding….at will employment means you can quit whenever you want, two weeks notice or not.
Goes both ways, you can also be let go at any given time, with no reason given.
If that’s true, then why do people act like those in a protected class are untouchable?
Instead of firing someone because they are pregnant, can’t that person just be let go for no reason given?
It’s just sort of funny how someone can quit whenever they want and it’s highly praised here, especially with no notice, but then when someone is let go so many replies say things like “get a lawyer!”
