Can you be written up for doing time corrections?

I was just told by management that if you submit up to 3 time corrections in a 7 day period you’ll get written up. Can they even do that? Especially if I’m correcting time so that I get paid for the hours that I worked in the first place? Idk seems weird to me but I couldn’t find anything about it
