My daughter worked for 12 years as an LNA…good reviews etc. She left as she was having a child.
She now is ready to go back to work part time. She filled out an application at a local (national) gas station. They have quite a kitchen/food area and she was to work preparing food. She was told she had the job. Mgr discussed hours, pay, working attire and she was due to start tomorrow. She just received a text saying 'They have decided to go another way' and good luck with your job search.
She's bright, carries herself well, is able to engage with folks on any level…
Can anyone give me a hint as to what and why this type of scenario happened? She knew it might be hard going back to work…and the manager himself said they were desperate…
She's not going to give up trying to work, but going forward…
Can anyone give me an idea of what she needs to do to make (working) this happen?
