I'm so fed up of my current job that I decided to take the day for myself, far from this place and to focus some time on my online business. So I called in sick for the day this morning. I'm completely fine with not being paid, I don't care at this point. But now they require me to give them a doctor's note to justify my absence or else I might get a sanction. I wasn't sick, but if you're really sick and can't even drive to go to work, you're still expected to find a doctor appointment the same day (otherwise the note isn't valid) and go through traffic to get a note, for an illness that can go away with rest.
And all this for missing just half a day or one day of work. I f*cking hate work and I'm so fed up with this bullshit. I just cannot wait to become financially independent and leave this circus.
