I am livid and am taking to this sub to vent. I worked in low-level operations for this mega charter school network for 9 months in 2021 before I hit my breaking point working 70 hour weeks for a soulless, incompetent boss who lacked proper training to run a school. I was crying in closets, forced to work on weekends (outside of contracted hours), etc. Leaving was the right decision and now I have a much better job that I actually enjoy. Like in that other movie 2012 where they spend 3 years building giant arcs and selling seats to the super wealthy while the rest of us bicker and fight over equality and such… everything feels eerily unreal… I don't know whats coming next but I suspect it isn't going to be smol

The problem is that I don’t live around the area anymore, so I’ll more than likely be forced to quit. This job wasn’t meant to be permanent anyway, more for recent college graduates. I’ll be going to grad school in the fall, but this means I’ll lose the income and health insurance I need for medication in the mean…
