My manager at work blocked me after I asked for sick leave?

I’m on a casual/contractor contract. My manager signed me up for 65-72 hours per week, 12 hours a day shifts. He wanted me to do even more shifts (84 hours a week) and pressured me to work even though I already said no. I’ve been working 6-7 days a week for a few months now. I bent over backwards to accommodate for his last minute changes to the schedule, cancellations and call ins. I get paid a much lower hourly rate than someone who has the same level of experience as me. Everytime we crossover for shifts he rudely tells me goodbye and that he doesn’t want to know anything about me. And he loves to insult me, degrade me. I need to change my poor attitude.

Had a meeting this morning about how we need to have a good attitude while we are at work. Every Saturday we have a meeting about how the sales people need to make changes. We've made the business more profitable than ever, year after year. We clearly voice things other departments could improve to help sales. Nothing. We clearly voice things that sales management could do to help productivity and customer experience. nothing. We constantly voice frustration with our poor payscale. no response. I need to ask before I leave work for the day. I need to ask before I take a 7 minute lunch. Even though I'm going to get fucked around instead of a “go ahead.” My personal sales were up 26% last year, and I'm showing similar growth this year. I get paid only from commision. Are you joining the meeting?

Today my boss messaged me to ask if I was joining the team meeting we had scheduled. He said this at 1:00pm on the dot, for a 1pm meeting. For real dude? Just because everyone else was on a few mins early and you all had a conversation going when I arrived doesn’t mean I’m late. Even if I was a few mins late give me a break, my prior meeting might have ran over (happens a ton) or maybe I was enjoying my damn lunch. I’m salary, I don’t punch a clock and most weeks I’m a little or a lot over my 40 hours.

How do I deal with my job and they won’t replace my uniform?

I've had my security job since may. Since about August I had requested new pants, as both pairs had ripped while doing my job. (They are pretty cheap pants and I worked at an old plant, everything cut up my pants) I'm now at a new site and I'm being forced to wear pants that have a huge rip in the crotch. You can see my underwear from certain angles if I'm sitting. But like I said it's been like 5 months and they haven't replaced my uniform. What do I do?

Core values

I'm stuck being tier 1 support at a medium sized managed service provider. Over the last two years they have been striving to become another cookie cutter managed service provider. When we first started doing the L10 meetings we started with saying one positive personal and professional thing. It was annoying BS but whatever. Lately they've developed”core values” and want to start every meeting with demonstrating something we've done to upheld the companies vote values. This part pisses me off. I shouldn't have to explain what I've done after spending 40 hours trying to keep their customers happy. Why are they doing this? What's the end goal?

My company tells me I’m required to ask customers for a good NPS score.

If the company receives a bad score or even if the customer comments and praises me but still gives a bad score I’m held at fault for not telling them to give a good score. This “bad behavior” can be met with write ups and disciplinary action. Such as denying promotion or even termination.

Im working for a recruitment agency who has sent me to a company that gardens for a city council. Gardening and upkeep of local parks for just over minimum wage, fine. For the most part I've been enjoying this job, my coworkers are all of the attitude that “we don't get paid enough for this shit” so there are a lot of breaks, we sit in nice parks with beautiful views, do minimal work, go grab food or take a shit when you want, we even just sometimes sit in the truck and Play Pokemon on our phones all day, making the company work for us but still getting some work done. Raise Request – Unprofessional Response

Felt it was time for a raise with everything Ive been doing in my role as well as what I needed personally. Did some research into the best way to go about it given the home office is London based and Im in the US. Typed up a professional email devoid of emotion focused on just what Ive accomplished and what additional functions ive taken on as well as what I was requesting, a certain % raise. Scheduled the email to hit the CEOs email, its a small company am I regularly correspond with the CEO, Monday at 8am London time and waited for a response.
