Just because I took a couple leaves at the start of the month. Is this shit even legal?

Easy jobs for the mentally ill?
Not sure if this is really the place for this but, does anyone know jobs that are great for staying at home and don’t require as much commitment? I struggle a lot with getting out and having the energy to function. I’m hoping something I can do at home, semi in my control will help me a lot. I’m 18 rn and live with my mom and she’s been pushing for me to try and get some kind of work bc we are struggling a lot to afford basic needs. My mom and I both struggle a lot with our ADHD so she hasn’t had consistent work much either. Anything online that you know doesn’t require much work experience would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. My last job was food service and I had to quit because of how awful that shit made me feel. Also note: my mom has…
If you were terminated 10 mins before your shift and boss tells you return all the equipment by 48 hours and drop it off in the mailroom office. Would you drop it off or would you have someone pick it up? Place has a huge turnover rate especially for my position and my coworker would snitch on me for every little thing. She and my manager would micromanage me. Coworker and I get called in the office and boss says Im terminated. Tells coworker to stand when I pack my personal belongings. When the boss broke me the news, I felt humiliated and when I back to my cubicle, I told the coworker I need a few minutes to gather my thoughts. But she said she is supposed to stay there until I grt my belongings out of the office. No one even said goodbye or good luck… But I'm…
So I work at a branch of grocery stores under Kroger. A worker had to leave because he was sick. At the same time, we had to clean more because of some health inspection stuff. Okay no biggie. Higher up comes up and tells me if I can stay longer. I said no because I have school assignments to work on. This did not sit well with her. She told me I have to send her my school schedule and she was giving me plenty of notice. It’s company policy that I have to stay longer when asked to stay. I was going to retort “Well my school work won’t do itself even with “plenty of notice” unless I can stop work now and do my homework. I don’t owe you my personal time. I have a busy life outside of this job.” Instead I said yeah sure. I’m not…
Pet store bullshit
I work for one of the two major pet stores. I groom dogs and get paid hourly+ commission+ tips. I work in one of the oldest stores and our crap is falling apart. Everytime we have a DM over or something they promise us equipment and never follow through. Despite this I have some of the best numbers in the district. I have had the best numbers for three years. I'm not going to get into the runaround they have been giving me about making pro groomer. I make the numbers but never get it. So I take a lot of breaks. Yeah I know it pisses the cashier's off, but I have a different job then them and I have to manage my time (2-4 hours a groom depending on the dog). So I start getting this shit about breaks and how it's stealing time. Except I have to…
On top of all of this, no one seemed to be aware that I was even coming in that day for a ride along, they all seemed surprised that I had showed up for such a thing. I get a tour of the warehouse, a condensed rundown of the day; and then I find out that I’ll be riding a full 8 hours, and with no mention of pay from my interviewer the week before (who I didn’t know lives in Chicago and wasn’t even there), and no mention from anyone else. I get home after a long unpaid day of work and email the boss man in Chicago letting him know I finished my ride along and reminded him of our interview last week, and let him I know I want to start working. That was yesterday around 6 and I have yet to hear from him on any…
i’m very new to working in a bank so a lot of it has started off overwhelming which should be of no shock to anyone as i’m typing this. i know nothing about banking yet somehow managed to get hired as an assistant manager. majority of my training is do-it-yourself while my boss doesn’t help me with much of it and i feel like that’s essential when you’re brand new but again, i wouldn’t really know what should happen because i’ve never worked in a bank. to get into it, i’ve been feeling unqualified and that my position requires a specific person with specific characteristics that are “customer obsessed” and everyday i come in to work, i don’t feel like i fit this corporate part. my boss has also expressed to me that “you can change peoples lives working at the bank and when you do, it’ll make you feel…
