I wish the truckers would actually protest for something real. Their jobs will be automated within our lifetime. They are still making a fraction of what they were making 40 years ago. Housing is still unaffordable for the vast majority of workers. Education is more expensive than ever. Their children’s futures are being stollen right underneath them. Even if you don’t think climate change is that bad, hunters and fisherman can see the immediate negative changes that are happening right in front of them. They still can’t smoke cannabis on vacation or on weekends, even though they live in a legal country (or at least American truckers can’t.) Yet there are shutting things over wearing a mask and public health policies. Supermarket raised prices
On Wednesday the market that I work for raised prices by $2 on most thing. As an example, sliced turkey cost $9.99 a pound. It now costs $11.99 a pound. I almost cried when I realized I had to work 1 hour to afford a pound of turkey
