I asked the company I work for why we get payed significantly less than other companies who offer the same thing. They have yet to email me back. All other questions get same day responses… I asked why our wages were significantly less. And if it was possible for any increases.

How is that his responsibility?
I'm curious to what anti work is about, and in open to be enlightened
What defines a person?
It feels like everyone i know identifies themselves with what job they are working and I am the only one that sees more in people. When I meet new people or see people i havent seen in a while the first question is always “where do you work” or “what do you study”. The only thing they seem to be interested in is what job i have like its the only thing i am. It definetely seems to be the only thing they are. Everyone only talks about work and ask why I dont have a job yet or tell me I am lazy only because I want to do others thing with my live than having to obey some boss. I would like to be seen as the guy who makes music, cooks for everyone, grows their own food and enjoys nature and all the little pleasures life has…
College vs Trade School
Apparently, people have so many stories of going into debt in college and bad experience with textbooks and education materials handed to them. I was wondering if it would be better to go into trade school instead. I'm really afraid of potentially falling into student debt and having to pay them for the rest of my life. At the time of writing this I'm in my third year of high school and we're learning how to be a good worker to appeal to interviewer and employers and make resumes. Young people are pressured to make up their minds on what they want to do and whether they want to go to college or not. It's tiresome, to be honest. I come from a low income background. I plan on getting a…

What do you think?
So I work for a cash in transit company as a armed guard/messenger – delivery boy for a bank like brinks. We have a contractual obligation to deliver money (holdovers) to other companies that operate in the same manner. To set the scenario, we were closed this past Thursday and Friday due to the snow storm we had so holdovers for those two days were backed up. I came in this past Monday to start my shift and was checking out my bags of money for the route and was told I’m delivering the holdovers to “company B;” which was the holdovers they were supposed to come to us to pick up, as well as the ones that were to be delivered to them for those days as well as Monday. When I got to Company B they refused the liability (money) that was supposed to be picked up from…
CEO reward for failure
Straight from the last filing, page 77 https://investor.onepeloton.com/static-files/c039f53f-c8a0-48dc-ae5e-11754afad389 This is the reward for getting the company to a point where you terminate 2800 employees. “Each of our officers, including our named executive officers, is also a participant in our Severance Plan. Pursuant to the Severance Plan and their respective participation agreements, if any of our named executive officers is terminated without “cause” or resigns for “good reason” (as such terms are defined in the Severance Plan), they will be entitled to receive a cash amount, equal to their (i) annual base salary payable in 12 monthly installments, (ii) target bonus for the fiscal year in which the termination occurs, pro-rated to reflect the partial year of service and (iii) any annual bonus earned for our prior fiscal year to the extent not yet paid, with each of the foregoing bonus amounts in clauses (ii) and (iii) payable in a lump-sum.…
