So the pub (in UK) I work at has recently had a manager tell us that being a single minute late once in a week will mean no tips for the week (not a crutch for the wage like in America but still a nice bonus/incentive) The manager didn't seem to respond well to me laughing at the idea being late by a minute once would justify no tips or that this would remove any incentive (imagine you're late by a minute on Monday, why would you try?) I also slipped up and told a co-worker I had smoked the past weekend with my friends, ended up in the “principals” office aka my regional manger and was ultimately forced to resign. This was in SC. Stop fucking worrying about what I do after hours
Once I've got enough to get setup somewhere I'm heading straight to a low cost country to be as self sufficient as possible
