I recently left my employment at a small environmental non-profit in my state. I was driving very far for the job (literally across the entire state). I racked up over 1000$ in mileage during my few months there. I stopped working there the first week of October. And I will admit that this is partly my fault as I submitted about 3 months of expense reporting at once before I left. It was my first “real” job where I needed to do my own expense reports and was giving virtually no guidance on how often and what format to do them in. (Literally the employee handbook packet has a paragraph dedicated to expense reports and an empty example spreadsheet). So I procrastinated completing them. I emphasize this is a VERY small non-profit (9 employees when I started) and the person in charge of accounting/accounts was working part time and transitioning…

Why does every retail job have this dumbass rule? How the fuck is walking to the break room part of your break? What's relaxing about walking to the break room? Walking isn't a break especially when you walk all day as part of the job. It takes two minutes to walk to the break room and back so I guess I only have 13 minutes to sit and not 15.
We’re supposed to donate tips.
I work at Walmart dispensing groceries and was told if we get a tip we have to put it in a jar where it's donated. I know we aren't technically supposed to take tips, but I sure don't fucking trust someone to properly take the money and donate it either. Why the fuck would I give them a tip? Its between me and the customer. Not the company. I literally make a dollar over minimum wage, anyone who fucking donates a tip is fucked in the head.
I need to vent about it, I’m seriously near the point where I just quit without a backup plan. I work as a delivery driver for a bloodbank in NJ and there are 2 hospitals that we deliver to that I’ve been harassed at. We call them HA and SJ. I’ve been complaining for months to management that the dispatch team will intentionally skip other drivers that are supposed to take certain deliveries or delay other hospital orders in order to make sure I’m always sent to these places. At one point I had to go to HA 8 times in a 5 day work week because of this. It’s been 6 days in a row that they’ve been doing this. I send in my complaints to management but they don’t care, they even go so far as to accuse me of trying to get out of work with this…
I work at a disability support company in Australia with my wife, I've been here for a few years without a single issue and work hard. Early this year I had my yearly evaluation and was told I was a great worker with nowhere to improve, I then asked for a raise and was told I don't do enough personal care shifts (these are the full on hard work ones where you have to use hoists and wipe asses and stuff) I told them great I'll drop all my group shifts and replace them with personal cares to which I was told not to and they'll get back to me. That was May, since I've asked for a raise a handful of times and was met by very luke warm answers of were working on a solution, that is until last week where my personal care client had multiple shifts…
First of all get your head out of the gutter I saw a post here where someone posted a photo of the bathroom door with what looked to be a sensor to track shitting times and it reminded me of an old job and thought i'll share. I used to hate the place and my role was a self managed role where at the start i was very motivated in doing it but after a while with the office politics and seeing that no matter how hard i worked or how much money i saved the company i was never getting a bonus so i decided to do the bare minium. To kill time i'll disapear into the bathroom, pick a stall in corner and play mobile games until my feet were numb. lol turns out the COO of the of place was the same and we would almost always…
We'll see how long management keeps them up.
With HR being involved and nothing was done and ended up wrongful termination. Also does the CEO of a corporation company finds out when his company is being sue it?
