Holy cow can’t believe I just read that from the Washington post. Are there people out there that still believe that was such a large amount of money that people who needed it actually didn’t burn through that in a month(s)?
The biggest fuck you to this place
I make 1 dollar a hour at work, I sit in a corner ALL day. I beg for a raise all day and I get nothing, this is a slavery. I dropped out of school because I didn't want to indocrinated by this fascist school system. Can someone please help me get out of this third world country? I love communism and I love Cuba but I hate the heat, I get texted by my manager and he says come to work everyday, i just love sleeping in, i hate those pigs.

Senior People Director Negligence
I recently took and internal position change or “promotion” at the company I work for. It would see me go from part time (32 hrs/week bullshit) to full time (40 hrs/wk.) I had to fight tooth and nail for a minor raise, and during the process the Senior Director of People for the corporation sent my boss a hastily drafted “Offer Letter” with nothing official in it other than my hourly rate. With all full time positions at our company, they offer some shitty healthcare (better than nothing) and a host of minor “feel good” benefits like free subscriptions to Headspace etc. Aside from my unofficial letter that was read to me, I never received an offer letter or employment contract that outlined the benefits and deal I was agreeing to. That was April 27th. Months later, still hadn't received anything official RE benefits, but have been receiving the new…

Just got fired. Fuck that shit hole. What’s next?
On her day off, my supervisior walked Into work and saw me talking to a coworker. Obviously that's a big no no (there's been issues before at this job where being too close to a coworker will get you put on opposite days/in trouble for talking) so she pulled the manager for the day into her office and basically berated her for “allowing” us to talk. 3 hours later and I'm being told I have to leave because “there's too many people on the floor” (two people called off leaving only 3 people there the entire day, obviously I knew that was bs). As I'm walking out, confused, another employee comes in saying she was called in to cover. I'm pissed, ask wtf is going on and I'm told that a higher up said I had to leave. I stop fighting and just leave anyways because I know I'm being…
Was coerced into quitting my job, they owed me a significant amount of money reimbursement for a trip I booked for work. I was told in writing I would be reimbursed. It’s been over a month and I haven’t seen the money and every time I email them to ask where it is they say they will “talk to finance” and never get back to me until the next time I email them the same thing.
(Idk if I can post this here, take down if not) my husband had an anxiety attack due to high work stress. At work, they literally called an ambulance to rush him to the hospital. He took a leave of absence to clear his mind. During this time, his job paid him some money, because he had sick time saved and his vacation saved up. He went back to work 1 week early because he felt better. Now, his job is telling him to repay all the money he got during his LOA. Is there anything at all we can do to fight this? He’s thankfully doing better now, and has been getting been therapy to get through work better.
