I've just about reached my limit, I don't understand why its so insanely difficult to just find a place that cares about their employees and listen to their concerns. Unfortunetly the size of the company doesn't matter, my company is only in the north east region with just a couple of stores and everybody knows eachother and are super friendly. I thought that maybe they'd listen when the team would say certain things aren't working when implemeted, but I guess not. I'm tired of working for people who don't care about me, so I'm starting my own. Itll be a company of just one employee (me) temporarily, but further down the line I want to hire people. I've learned about profit sharing and co-ops. I'd like to implement other things like good pay, insurence, higher increase in accrued PTO and sick days, but what about things like madatory paid time…

TLDR: was asked for SSN and DL prior to job offer. Interviewer said job listing was incorrect, it was less pay. Couldn't tell me why it was “such a great company”. TLSR: (too long still read) Last week I had a job interview at an apartment community for a leasing agent position. I have a little over 2 and a half years of experience in the industry as well as the software they utilize. The Indeed listing said from $15-$18 an hour. You’re not going to buy a house 15x your salary by giving up a overpriced coffee, but stopping that coffee eventually trickle through the economy to a point where the price points have to drop at some point. Globally we are taken for a ride. It’s everything to from necessities to overpriced gig tickets. These corps will eventually reduce and things will turn to normal eventually. How long that will take is another matter. If everyone makes better choices perhaps it will speed this up. Better job choices and stop loading yourselves with debt. F these overpriced commodities and ruthless corps. It’ll all come crashing down one day.
