Tripped bosses ego got fired
Worked for a small carpentry company. Boss was nice in the beginning. 6 months down the line he’s just an aggressive blaming pig. Everyone is wrong he’s right. Micromanaging, raising his voice, yelling. Came to a point where I started barking back at him. The last day we were installing a door at some castle looking house. 11 hours into this shit he starts barking at me for speed and quality and not doing things his way, but my way. I start barking back at him in front of the home owner and the door company owner who happened to show up. In the end he fired me in front of everyone because I made him look bad. Well 6 months of bullshit adds up, late payments add up, feels good to put an egoistic boss in his place.
Is that so.

I've just about reached my limit, I don't understand why its so insanely difficult to just find a place that cares about their employees and listen to their concerns. Unfortunetly the size of the company doesn't matter, my company is only in the north east region with just a couple of stores and everybody knows eachother and are super friendly. I thought that maybe they'd listen when the team would say certain things aren't working when implemeted, but I guess not. I'm tired of working for people who don't care about me, so I'm starting my own. Itll be a company of just one employee (me) temporarily, but further down the line I want to hire people. I've learned about profit sharing and co-ops. I'd like to implement other things like good pay, insurence, higher increase in accrued PTO and sick days, but what about things like madatory paid time…
Made the local news. Just “went to work sick” and refused to use his accrued PTO and vacation time. Literally never used it. What the fuck? They gave him a lil award. That's it. People be crazy man. Use your PTO guys.
The ole bait and switch
TLDR: was asked for SSN and DL prior to job offer. Interviewer said job listing was incorrect, it was less pay. Couldn't tell me why it was “such a great company”. TLSR: (too long still read) Last week I had a job interview at an apartment community for a leasing agent position. I have a little over 2 and a half years of experience in the industry as well as the software they utilize. The Indeed listing said from $15-$18 an hour. I figured 18 an hour would be for an experianced candidate like myself. When I arrived I was immediately handed a TAA (Texas apartment association) job application by the assistant property manager. I had already applied on their website prior to the interview, so this was kind of annoying having to redo essentially everything I had provided online. It asked me for my SSN and DL #'s a…
